North African expense management developer raises $4.5m for Europe expansion

Mubasher: Franco-Tunisian company Expensya has announced raising $4.5 million from a number of investors.

Expensya, which develops web and mobile expense management systems, revealed that French fund ISAI, which early stage internet companies, along with Seventure Partners, which invest in digital technologies and life sciences, were among the investors, added to several angel investors.

"In a large and changing expense management market, we are convinced that we have the qualities to continue to grow at a sustained rate", commented Seventure Partners associate Ludovic Denis.

Founded in 2014 by Karim Jouini and Jihed Othmani, Expensya is looking to increase its research and development capacity as well as expand its operations in France then globally.

Expensya currently offers its services in 60 countries.
