Oman’s Ministry of Transport has announced that a new air cargo terminal at Salalah International Airport will open on Wednesday.
The ministry said in a Twitter post that the last flight arrival to the current cargo building would be at 10:30am on Tuesday, followed by the last departing flight at 11:20am.
Cargo arrivals and departures will then begin operating from the new terminal on Wednesday with orders received between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
The first flight arrival will be at 10:30am, followed by the first departure at 11:20pm.
The ministry also opened new cargo and passenger facilities at Muscat International Airport in March.
A new passenger terminal is also due to begin operations on September 18.
