Cairo – Mubasher: Construction progress of the New Administrative Capital's central business district reached 30-35%, the deputy minister of housing Khaled Abbas told reporters on Thursday.
The central business district includes 20 residential, administrative, service, and commercial towers, including Africa’s tallest tower at the height of 345 metres.
Residential buildings will feature between 16 and 79 stories.
Located over 170,000 feddans, the New Administrative Capital is expected to accommodate 6.5 million people when completed, in addition to creating 2 million jobs.
