Egyptian natural gas production increased by 19.4% year-on-year (YOY) to reach 3.9 million tons in June 2018, compared to 3.2 million tons in June 2017, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Statistics published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) reveal that Egypt’s consumption of natural gas increased by 7.4% between June 2017 and June 2018, rising from 3.7 million tons to almost 4 million tons.
Monthly figures show that Egypt’s gas production declined by 2% between May and June 2018, while consumption rose by 1.4% to 3.9 million tons of natural gas in May 2018.
