Mubasher: Oman’s National Gas Company announced on Tuesday that its ordinary general meeting (OGM will discuss a proposal by the board of directors to pay cash dividends at 12.5% of the capital or 12.5 Baisas per share for the fiscal year 2015.
The OGM, due to be held on 30 March, will also discuss distributing 1-for-10 bonus shares, equivalent to 10% of the company’s capital, which will be increased to 55 million shares from 50 million, according to a bourse filing.
National Gas’ profits rose last year by 6.5% to OMR 1.63 million ($4.23 million ) from OMR 1.53 million ($3.97 million) in 2014.
The Muscat listed company’s stock shrank in today’s early trading by 1.32% to OMR 0.289 ($0.75).
