National Forum for SMEs to kick off tomorrow in Dubai

UAE – Mubasher: The National Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises - Government Procurement is set to launch in Dubai on Tuesday, 23 April 2024.

The forum will be attended by more than 80 federal entities, national companies, and many owners of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), according to a press release.

Organised by the Ministry of Economy, the forum will take place in the Godolphin Ballroom of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel.

The primary objective of the event will be to empower Emirati entrepreneurs to optimise their competitive edge in securing tenders and contracts offered by federal entities and participating national companies.

With 30 participating entities, the forum will exhibit digital platforms showcasing the terms of tenders and contracts available to Emirati entrepreneurs. These platforms will also offer invaluable advice and support to help attendees seize these opportunities.

Furthermore, participants will gain insight into various initiatives supporting national SME owners, fostering business growth, and facilitating access to new projects.

The forum will feature a series of inclusive discussions led by 26 speakers, illuminating legislation and policies that bolster remarkable project growth through government procurement.

These sessions will spotlight the success stories of national business owners while addressing the challenges they encounter in procuring government tenders.

Moreover, the event will serve as a pivotal platform for raising awareness of programmes supporting Emirati entrepreneurs, including the National Programme for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the Digital Procurement Platform (DPP), and the Hafez and Nafis programmes.
