Naqi Water shareholders approve amendments at EGM

Riyadh — Mubasher: The shareholders of Naqi Water Company have approved a formal amendment to Article 3 of the company’s Articles of Association, which outlines the firm's corporate purposes.

The decision was reached during an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on 20 September 2026.

The meeting, conducted via modern technology from the company's headquarters in Unaizah, Al Qassim, recorded a shareholder attendance rate of 70.81%.

The proposal to amend the company's objectives received overwhelming support, with 99.97279% of the votes cast in favor of the resolution.

According to the disclosure, 0.02279% of the votes were against the motion, while 0.00441% abstained.

The assembly was attended by several board members, including Chairman Amin Abdullah Al Mallah and Managing Director and CEO Abdulaziz Yousef Al Sayegh.

The company confirmed that the legal quorum required for the meeting was met in accordance with the Companies Law and the company’s internal regulations.

No further financial impacts or strategic changes resulting from the amendment were detailed in the regulatory filing.

Last August, Naqi Water opened a new branch in the city of Tabuk as part of its strategic plan to expand its geographical footprint across the Kingdom.
