Nama Chemicals turns to profits worth SAR 19.5m in H1-21

Riyadh – Mubasher: Nama Chemicals Company registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 19.54 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, against losses of SAR 10.66 million in H1-20.

Earnings per share stood at SAR 0.837 in H1-21, versus losses of SAR 0.457 in H1-20, according to the financial results on Monday.

Sales increased by 27.19% to SAR 285.64 million in H1-21 from SAR 224.56 million in H1-20.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Nama Chemicals also turned profitable at SAR 9.57 million, against losses of SAR 3.33 million in Q2-20.

The revenues grew by 17.4% to SAR 122.83 million in Q2-21 from SAR 104.54 million in Q2-20.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were 3.9% lower than SAR 9.96 million in Q1-21, and the sales shrank by 24.5% from SAR 162.81 million.
