Riyadh — Mubasher: Najran Cement Company has released its annual sustainability report for 2025, detailing the company’s progress in energy efficiency, decarbonization, and corporate governance.
The manufacturer reported a total revenue of SAR 516.13 million and a net profit of SAR 36.50 million for the period.
Environmental performance data showed a notable improvement in carbon efficiency, with emission intensity falling to 693 kg of CO2 per ton of cement produced, down from previous years.
The company’s waste heat recovery (WHR) plant, which has a capacity of 27.5 MW, generated 15,086 MWh of electricity during the year.
Total energy consumption reached 9,529,250 GJ, resulting in an energy intensity of 3.56 GJ per ton of cement.
On the social front, Najran Cement maintained a workforce of 739 full-time employees with a Saudization rate of 42.60%.
Najran Cement invested SAR 1.08 million in community initiatives and reported that 100% of employees and contractors are covered by occupational health and safety systems.
Governance disclosures confirmed that independent directors now occupy 75% of board seats, following the commencement of the current board term on 9 August 2025.
