Cairo – Mubasher: The board of directors of New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) approved the planned budget for fiscal year 2021/2022 at EGP 140 billion.
The authority aims to complete, resume, and start construction of thousands of housing units in new cities during the coming fiscal year, the Minister of Housing, Assem El-Gazzar, said in a statement on Sunday.
The FY21/22 budget has been allocated for the establishment of several projects, including connecting projects in the New Administrative Capital to utilities, financing several development projects in different governorate, and financing part of the Hayah Karima projects in villages.
Moreover, NUCA is planning to complete building 81,348 housing units in the social housing project, Vice Chairman Abdel Moteleb Mamdouh said.
