NMC witnesses 17.5% profit growth in Q2-26, revenue exceeds SAR 844m in H1

Riyadh – Mubasher: National Medical Care Company (NMC) reported a net profit of SAR 93.97 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, representing a 17.551% increase compared to SAR 79.94 million in the same period last year.

Revenue for the quarter rose by 14.697% to SAR 456.35 million, supported by a 20% annual growth in total patient volumes which reached 280,000.

The company attributed the quarterly performance to improved revenue mix and a recovery in referrals from the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), according to the financial results.

Operating profit for the three-month period climbed by 25.623% to SAR 106.75 million, while the net profit margin improved to 20.6% from 20.1% in Q2-25.

During the first half (H1) of 2026, net profit declined by 11.418% to SAR 146.431 million despite a 7.807% increase in revenues to SAR 844.34 million.

The six-month earnings were impacted by a 12.2% rise in the cost of revenue and higher operating expenses related to group expansions.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the half-year period stood at SAR 3.28, down from SAR 3.7 in the previous year.

Total shareholders' equity reached SAR 1.86 billion as of 30 June 2026.
