Kuwait - Mubasher: National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) said that it is one of the banks that Kuwait Airways are currently negotiating with to offer financing proposals, according to a bourse filing.
The Kuwaiti airliner are studying options to finance renewing their airplane fleet.
NBK said on Sunday that it is still considering Kuwait Airways’ request for a financing proposal, as it is subject to the rules and conditions set by the bank before granting any credit facility.
This comes after it a local newspaper reported that Kuwait Finance House and National Bank of Kuwait are potential partners in financing Kuwait Airways with KWD 600 milllion.
