Riyadh - Mubasher: Mutakamela Insurance Company has appointed Nabil bin Azzouz as a non-executive member of its board of directors.
The decision, initially approved by the board on 22 June 2026, fills a vacant seat following the receipt of no-objection from regulatory authorities on 15 July. The appointment will continue until the conclusion of the current board cycle on 8 August 2028.
This temporary appointment is subject to formal approval by the company’s shareholders at the next General Assembly meeting.
Bin Azzouz brings extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of International Underwriting at Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC).
He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Tunisia, a master's degree in insurance law from France, and a diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK. He also serves as a board member for ADNIC International Ltd in the UK.
The Saudi company’s assembly ratified a major reinsurance contract with ADNIC valued at SAR 164.80 million.
