Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) on Sunday revealed that it is working on establishing eight general headquarters for Abu Dhabi Police.
With a total cost of AED 474 million, work is progressing as planned in the eight projects in accordance with international standards for modern buildings.
International standards comprise smart services, environment-friendly modern designs, and green buildings featuring a proper environment and health, energy-saving specifications, according to state-run news agency WAM.
The projects include construction of the Civil Defence Centre at Al Falah region, three police stations at Al Falah, Al Saadiyat and Al Mirfa, the K9 Security Inspection Building – Phase 2, the boundary wall of the police training city and security gates at Al Haffar area.
"These new projects form part of the efforts to realise the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide high quality infrastructure that meets the needs of individuals and the community at large in line with best international standards," Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, major general and commander in chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said.
He added that such projects will enhance security performance and improve safety and security for the community.
