Mubasher: Kuwait Resorts (Muntazahat) achieved an incline of 4.8% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings grew to about KWD 519,070 ($1.72 million) in Q2-18 from nearly KWD 495,110 ($1.64 million) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Monday.
During the first six months of 2018, Muntazahat posted a rise of 0.5% in profits to KWD 1.054 million compared to KWD 1.049 million in the same half in 2017.
The increase in H1 profits is attributed to a growth in income from investments available for sale.
