Morocco’s Minster of Energy, Mines and Sustainable Development, Aziz Rabbah, has signed a framework agreement with Djibouti’s Minster of Energy, Yonis Ali Guedi, according to the North Africa Post.
Inking this cooperation agreement would help foster cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, mining and geology. Moreover, it would provide an interaction platform for stakeholders and investors in these sectors.
Additionally, this agreement comes as a part of Morocco’s African Strategy that seeks to support the sustainable development of the continent through successful partnerships and sharing expertise.
Guedi has expressed his keenness to work with Morocco and benefit from the country’s expertise in energy and mining, highlighting that this bilateral cooperation would help in the development of renewable energy in Djibouti.
