Moro Hub partners with Intel to accelerate digital transformation at Green Data Centre

UAE - Mubasher: Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intel Corporation to execute and accelerate digital transformation initiatives at the hub's Green Data Centre, the first certified tier III data centre in the Middle East.

Under the MoU, Moro Hub and Intel Corporation will focus on several areas, including multi-cloud infrastructure, analytics platforms, smart cities, video surveillance, green data centre, and other Internet of Things (IoT) use cases, according to a press release on Wednesday.

The agreement is part of the Dubai-based IT, digital, and data centre’s initiatives to benefit from collaborative solutions on Intel’s architecture and expertise on innovative offerings.

Meanwhile, Intel will share best practices and reference architectures from its key customers and partners with Moro Hub by offering strategic information on future products and conducting workshops and trainings on advanced technology.

The Vice-Chairman and Group CEO of Digital DEWA, Marwan bin Haidar, said: "This MoU contributes in our endeavours to make the Green Data Centre into the world’s best and sustainable platform for future tech."

Meanwhile, the Territory Client Computing Director at Intel EMEA, Taha Khalifa, commented: "Moro Hub is a leading technology provider and partnering with them is an opportunity to maximise our expertise and further empower the use of our advanced solutions."
