Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Chemical Industries on Sunday reported a 24% year-on-year growth in its profits in July.
Net profit reached EGP 12 million during July, compared to EGP 9.6 million in the year-ago period, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The company has generated a net profit of EGP 140.1 million during fiscal year 2017/2018, against a net loss of EGP 23.8 million in the July-June period of FY16/17.
Revenues jumped by 153% year-on-year, recording around EGP 400 million at the end of June, compared to EGP 158.3 million in the same period a year earlier.
