Marriott to develop two luxury hotels in Neom’s Trojena

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Marriott International, the renowned hospitality company, sealed a deal to establish two luxury properties in Trojena, the mountain destination of Neom, the company announced in a press release.

As per the agreement, Marriott is set to establish Saudi Arabia’s first W Hotel and a JW Marriott Hotel in Trojena, the highest mountain range in Saudi Arabia.

Chadi Hauch, the Regional Vice President for Lodging Development for Middle East at Marriott International, described Neom as “one of the most highly anticipated developments in the world.”

Hauch stated: “W Hotels continues to redefine the luxury hospitality sector, and Neom is an ideal fit with its vision centered around innovation, creativity, design and exploration, while JW Marriott, one of our flagship brands, will bring its legacy of extraordinary hospitality, thoughtful design and enriching experiences.”

Meanwhile, Philip Gullett, the Executive Director of Trojena, said: “We are delighted to have two of Marriott International’s iconic brands at the forefront of luxury travel, W Hotels and JW Marriott, join us to elevate the travel experience for discerning guests.”

Gullett added that Trojena redefines the understanding of ultra-luxury hospitality and mountain tourism due to its central location and high elevation mountain landscape up to 2,600 meters.  

W Hotel in Trojena will feature 236 guest rooms, including 47 suites, with breathtaking mountains and lake views. It will encompass four dining options, retail space, a spa, and a fitness center.

Moreover, JW Marriott Hotel is set to be a luxurious gateway for travelers looking for ultra-premium escape paired with exceptional service and well-being experiences.

It is set to include 500 luxury rooms and suites, in addition to state-of-the-art entertainment and recreational facilities, including: a ballroom, meeting spaces, five dining venues, a fitness club, a kids club, swimming pools and a spa.
