Malath Cooperative Insurance opens board nominations for new 4-year term

Riyadh — Mubasher: Malath Cooperative Insurance Company has opened the nomination process for its board of directors for the upcoming four-year term.

The company is seeking candidates for nine board seats, with the new term tentatively scheduled to run from 13 December 2026 until 13 December 2030.

The nomination period begins on 14 September 2026 and will remain open until 15 October 2026. The commencement of the new term is subject to General Assembly approval to terminate the current board cycle and the subsequent election of new members.

Candidates must comply with regulations issued by the Insurance Authority and the Capital Market Authority.

Eligibility requirements stipulate that a nominee cannot hold board positions in more than five listed joint-stock companies simultaneously.

Furthermore, independent candidates must disclose any financial interests, such as payments exceeding SAR 200,000 or 50% of the previous year's remuneration.

Applications must be submitted to the company's headquarters in Riyadh or via email to the investor relations department within the specified timeframe.
