Mubasher: Majan Glass Company’s losses rose 9.4% in the first quarter of 2017 compared to Q1-16, the company’s financial statements showed.
Majan lost OMR 263,670 ($682,380) in Q1-17, compared to OMR 240,930 ($623,530) in Q1-16, according to the company’s statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
Sales dropped 12.8% to OMR 1.77 million in Q1-17, compared to OMR 2.03 million in Q1-16.
The company’s losses amounted to OMR 965,090 in 2016, compared to OMR 1.62 million in the year before, showing a drop of 40.4%.
