Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) suffered losses in Sunday’s early trades.
The general index fell 0.12% or 6.7 points to reach 5,755.78 points by 10:48am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 3.95 million shares through 240 transactions, with a turnover of OMR 675,020.
The industrial and services sectors declined 0.12% and 0.06% respectively, whereas the financial sector rose 0.25%.
Al Anwar Ceramics Tiles led losers after falling 6.67%, while Oman Fisheries was the best performer with a 10% rise.
Al Jazeera Steel Products, which levelled up 3.53%, saw trading of 967,540 shares worth OMR 255,700.
