Trading volume reached 10.57 million shares exchanged at OMR 2.28 million, compared to 9.57 million shares exchanged on Sunday at OMR 2.09 million.
The financial and industrial sectors advanced by 0.43% and 0.17% respectively, while the services sector shrank 0.1%.
Oman United Insurance topped gainers by adding 5.51%, while Al Jazeera Steel Products led decliners after falling 2.61%.
Al Izz Islamic Bank was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 2.23 million shares, whereas National Gas made the highest liquidity of OMR 250,110.
