Riyadh – Mubasher: Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO) has completed the title deed transfer and registration of a property in its name after a final court ruling in a lawsuit filed by Al Shorouq Al Motatawera Development Company.
Spanning 966,488 square meters in the Hadda area, the property is a vacant plot of land on the old road connecting the cities of Jeddah and Makkah, with no construction on it, according to a bourse disclosure.
Meanwhile, the land will be reclassified as assets in the financial statements. The exact impact cannot be determined at the moment, and the impact will be reflected in the second quarter (Q2) of 2026.
In Q1-26, the listed company incurred net losses valued at SAR 1.99 million, compared to net profits amounting to SAR 5.33 million in Q1-25.
