Cairo – Mubasher: DREEVO FOR TECHNOLOGY & LOGISTICS SERVICES (dreevo), a last-mile delivery focused startup, launched its operations throughout Egypt.
The startup raised a six-digit US dollar pre-seed funding from EF Logistics, a third party logistic arm of El Masria Warehousing Company, according to a recent statement.
“We are positioning ourselves to be the partner of choice for all e-commerce startups and merchants in the region, with a network of 200 couriers, we are also aiming to achieve 300,000 shipments by the end of 2020.” Sameh Shaheen, CEO of dreevo, said.
“dreevo combines the unrelenting passion and significant experience of our ambitious team to challenge, and completely overhaul the current last-mile ecosystem status quo,” he added.
The startup offers a variety of last mile delivery services that can be custom-tailored to suit a wide range of alternative business models. These services include door-to-door delivery, warehousing and fulfillment, pick up stations, and choose and return services.
The company, currently operating in 22 cities in the most populous Arab nation, is looking to roll out new services in the local market and expand into the MENA region in the near future.
