LEAP 2026 kicks off in Riyadh to explore new frontiers in technology

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Riyadh today became a global meeting point for technology and innovation as LEAP 2026 kicked off under the theme “Into New Worlds,” bringing together thousands of companies, startups, investors and technology experts.

The fifth edition of the global technology event runs from 31 August to 3 September at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.

The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 global speakers and experts, 1,800 technology companies, 600 startups and 1,900 investors and venture capital representatives, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a hub for technology and innovation.

The LEAP 2026 Conference is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and Tahaluf, backed by Informa and the Events Investment Fund.

Its agenda will focus on artificial intelligence, advanced technologies and the digital economy, with dedicated tracks covering fintech, HealthTech, smart cities, edtech, sports tech, space, gaming and digital infrastructure.

The program also includes DeepFest, LEAP’s dedicated AI platform, alongside LEAP Connect, Sports Tech Hub, World Tech Zone and LEAP Studios. The event will feature dedicated programs for startups and investors, as well as platforms for announcing partnerships, agreements and technology initiatives.

Since its launch in Riyadh in 2022, LEAP has grown into a global technology platform, expanding internationally through LEAP East in Hong Kong and connecting technology and AI ecosystems across East and West.

LEAP 2026 will also focus on technology’s economic and social impact, supporting national talent and providing entrepreneurs and technology students with opportunities to engage with global innovations and explore new career and business opportunities.
