Mubasher: Kuwaiti non-oil exports increased by 63% year-on-year to KWD 207.7 million ($686.6 million) in 2018, according to a report released on Wednesday by the country's trade ministry.
Egypt topped Kuwait’s importers with KWD 80.1 million, having received 38.6% of the GCC country’s exports.
Last year, Iraq came second with KWD 18.7 million imports from Kuwait, followed by Italy and Jordan, with KWD 11.1 million and KWD 9.6 million imports, respectively, the report found.
Kuwait's non-oil exports to the GCC recorded KWD 38.9 million in 2018. The UAE led the region with KWD 23.5 million in imports, followed by Qatar with KWD 8.5 million and Saudi Arabia with KWD 5.6 million.
