Mubasher: The newly launched over-the-counter (OTC) market saw a trading of 33,320 shares exchanged through three transactions at a value of as much as KWD 3,000, according to Boursa Kuwait’s statistics.
Future Communications Co Global saw trading of 23,320 shares, while Al-Manar Financing and Leasing’s traded volume hit 10,000 shares, the bourse’s data added.
At the side of private transactions, they were implemented on two companies after 50,480 shares were exchanged, generating KWD 2,480 in a turnover.
The over-the-counter market, which started its operations on Sunday, 18 November, is considered the first of its type in the GCC region. It is used to carry out trading activities for securities which are not listed on Boursa Kuwait's main indices.
