Mubasher: Kuwait’s exports to Arab nations hit KWD 3.12 million in November 2018, acquiring 58.3% of total exports, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said.
The GCC nation’s exports to the rest of world countries amounted to KWD 2.23 million last November, representing 41.7% of total exports.
Kuwait’s overall exports decreased 33% year-on-year in November 2018, with a 93% month-on-month slump, the ministry added.
Iraq ranked the first destination for Kuwait’s exports with KWD 1 million, followed by Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt with KWD 734,000, KWD 640,000, and KWD 203,000, respectively.
As for Kuwait’s exports to European and other foreign nations, Italy was the largest destination with KWD 2 million, followed by Portugal with KWD 188,000, and France with KWD 128,000.
