Mubasher: Kuwait's crude oil exports to Japan witnessed a 5.3% year-on-year drop to 6.69 million barrels in July or by 216,000 barrels per day (bpd), according to the government's recent data.
Kuwait, the fourth-biggest oil exporter to Japan, made up 7.4% of the Asian nation’s total oil imports in July, compared to 6.8% in July 2017, the Japanese Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE) revealed.
Japan’s overall crude oil imports declined 17.8% year-on-year in July to 2.9 million bpd, registering a decrease for the second month in a row.
Meanwhile, Middle East exporters accounted for 88.8% of the world's third largest economy’s oil imports, the energy agency added.
