Kuwait's coronavirus cases reach 225

Mubasher: Kuwait on Friday reported 17 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases during the past 24 hours, according to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health.

This brings the total number of cases in Kuwait to 225, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported citing a statement by the health ministry's spokesperson.

The new cases include four Kuwaitis who travelled to the US, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and France, while another case is for a resident travelling to Jordan.

Nine other cases were in contact with previously confirmed cases.

Out of the 225 cases, 57 have recovered and 168 remain under treatment.
