Kuwait reports 13 coronavirus cases; total at 208

Mubasher: Kuwait has reported 13 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases during the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Thursday.

Six cases are Kuwaiti citizens who recently arrived from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and France, while one case is still under investigation, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The health ministry's spokesperson Abdullah Al Sanad further revealed during a press conference that the other seven cases were in contact with previously infected patients.

The Kuwaiti Minister of Health, Basel Al Sabah, announced that six more patients have recovered from the novel disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 49 cases.

This brings the total number of cases in Kuwait to 208, of which 49 of have recovered, while 159 are still receiving treatment.
