Mubasher: Kuwait Cement’s profit went down by 19% year-on-year to KWD 3.08 million ($10.14 million) in the second quarter of 2019.
In the first six months of 2019, the company’s profit dropped 33% to KWD 4.51 million, compared to KWD 6.77 million in the year-ago period, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.
The company attributed the profit decline to the shrinkage of its total profit and its share in the profit of a sister company.
Kuwait Cement posts KWD 3.2 million net profit in Q1-19, down 45% from the year before.
