Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has sold bonds and related tawarruq valued at KWD 290 million ($957.10 million).
The three-month issue, which will mature on 17 December, was oversubscribed by 9.35 times, receiving a demand of KWD 2.71 billion, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The CBK’s latest bond issue was on 6 August at a total value of KWD 240 million.
It is worth to mention that bonds and related tawarruq are offered by the CBK to regulate liquidity in the market.
