Kuwait C. bank issues KWD 160m bonds

Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has issued bonds and securities worth KWD 160 million ($530.7 million) for three months ending on 13 March 2018.

The demand volume of this bonds issue stood at KWD 907 million, while it was oversubscribed by five times to 467%, according to the latest data issued by the CBK.

The yield on these bonds is 1.75%.

Kuwait’s finance minister previously noted that the government aims to raise total bonds to KWD 20 billion from KWD 10 billion, as well as increasing the maturity period to be 30 years.
