Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: KitchenomiKs, one of the fastest-growing FoodTech startups in Oman, secured $1.8 million in a pre-Series A round from prominent Omani and regional investors to accelerate its expansion in Saudi Arabia and the region, a recent statement announced.

The latest round brought the startup’s total funding to $3.5 million, fueling its plan to expand in the Kingdom by 2024.

KitchenomiKs operates the largest cloud kitchen facility spanning 3,000 square meters at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, with a portfolio of 12 diverse food brands that are rated 4* and above on major delivery applications.

Aankush Bhatia, Founder and CEO of KitchenomiKs, said: “We are excited to take this strategy across the borders, starting with the KSA market.”

He elaborated that the company’s core business model focuses on three aspects: create its own brands, promote other known brands, and empower home-grown brands.

KitchenomiKs partnered with local restaurants and food entrepreneurs to help them grow while eliminating the overhead costs of running physical restaurants.

The Omani foodtech company aims to partner and raise capital from institutional investors to fund the deployment of cutting-edge technologies and geographical expansion by enrolling the best in culinary and technology talent across the region.
