Kingdom Holding’s CFO resigns

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Kingdom Holding Company’s (KHC) CFO Mohamed Fahmy has resigned from his post, informed sources said.

Fahmy will leave the firm by the end of February, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing the sources as saying.

The reasons for the CFO’s depature are still not clear, but they are not related to Prince Alwaleed bin Talal’s arrest during the Saudi anti-corruption crackdown that occurred in November 2017.

Saudi Arabia’s billionaire owns a 95% stake in KHC.

In November 2017, the Saudi authorities arrested a large number of officials and businessmen in anti-corruption drive.
