King Abdullah Port to participate in UAE Maritime Week

Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Port is set to take part in the UAE Maritime Week as a major sponsor.

The participation in the Middle East’s first comprehensive maritime event is a part of exploring opportunities for more expansion opportunities in the GCC and globally, according to an official statement.

The port’s CEO Rayan Qutub will be a major speaker in the event, especially in the “Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)” session on 28 October.

“The port will also participate in Seatrade Maritime Middle East, which is also part of the UAE Maritime Week,” the statement added.

The fourth edition of the UAE Maritime Week will take place during the period between 28 October and 1 November.

The five-day event is set to promote the UAE’s global status as a first-class maritime destination and enhance Dubai’s competitiveness as one of the world’s leading maritime clusters
