Cairo – Mubasher: Kafr El Zayat Pesticides and Chemicals Company plans to team up with Odin Investments and establish a specialised fund for seeds, chemicals, fertilisers, and biotechnology.
The fund’s capital will amount to EGP 5 million, according to a recent bourse filing.
Kafr El Zayat Pesticides recently announced plans to register sales worth EGP 1.73 billion in 2024.
In the January-June 2023 period, the consolidated net profits after tax of Kafr El Zayat Pesticides hit EGP 142.45 million, an annual hike from EGP 79.57 million, including minority interest.
Revenues increased to EGP 990.08 million in the first half (H1) of 2023 from EGP 711.93 million a year earlier, while the basic earnings per share (EPS) increased to EGP 0.79 from EGP 0.65.
