Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's government on Sunday has awarded four new licences to Japanese firms in addition to signing five memorandums of understanding (MoUs).

Japan has 96 projects in the kingdom with total investments of SAR 53 billion, Aleqtisadiah newspaper said, citing the Saudi Minister of commerce and investment Majed Al Kassabi as saying.

The Japanese minister of commerce said that his country plans to invest in the megaproject Neom, which will be a business and industrial zone that also links with Jordan and Egypt.
