Mubasher: Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) on Sunday said that the value of undergoing and future projects in the next five years amounted to $5.2 billion, CEO Mohammad Al-Mutairi said.
KNPC’s projects are forecast to hit $25 billion by 2040, Al-Mutairi added.
Dabdaba solar project will be launched in January 2019, the CEO noted, indicating that international lenders will finance 70% of the project, while the remaining 30% will be injected by Kuwaiti banks.
Dabdaba solar project, which is carried out in collaboration with the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, is set to be finished within two years.
