KIPCO forecasts $100m dividends in 2019

Mubasher: Kuwait Projects Holding (KIPCO) is expecting to pay up to $100 million in cash dividends in 2019.

The company is focusing on acquisition in the educational sectors, along with investment opportunities in banking and insurance digitalisation, group chief financial officer, Pinak Maitra, said.

Maitra referred to the success of the subscription in KIPCO’s capital hike issuance, noting that it received great demand.

KIPCO reported a 10% year-on-year increase in profits during the second quarter of 2019 to KWD 7.1 million ($23.4 million) from KWD 6.42 million ($21.2 million).
