KIB’s finance income grows 21% in 9M

Mubasher: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recorded an increase of 21% in finance revenues from January to September 2018 when compared to the same period last year, the deputy chairman and CEO of KIB, Raeed Bukhamsin.

KIB’s finance income grew to KWD 64.9 million in the first nine months of 2018 from KWD 53.5 million in the corresponding period a year ago, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.

It is noteworthy that the bank’s net finance revenues represent 79% of its operating income in the nine-month period of 2018.

Total operating revenues enlarged by KWD 4 million, a year-on-year rise of 9%.

The CEO noted that KIB’s assets increased by 10% to KWD 2.1 billion.
