Jordan to host World Economic Forum on Saturday

Mubasher: Jordan will host the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa 2019 on Saturday, 6 April under the theme “Building New Platforms of Cooperation”.

António Guterres, the current secretary-general of the United Nations; Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas; Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Rania Al-Mashat; Khalid Al-Rumaihi, Bahrain Economic Development Board's CEO; Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the Minister of Climate Change and Environment in the UAE will attend the two-day event.

Set to wrap up on Sunday, 7 April, the forum will also host over 1,000 government and business leaders from more than 50 nations.

The World Economic Forum is teaming up with the Bahraini Economic Development Board for the second time to bring around 100 Arab start-up firms to the event.
