Jordan’s Masaken approves capital increase to JOD 24.5m

Mubasher: Jordan’s Masaken for Land and Industrial Development Projects agreed, in an extraordinary general meeting, to increase its capital to JOD 24.48 million ($34.34 million).

Foreign and strategic investors and shareholders will be contributors in the capital hike, the Amman-listed company said.

The company’s board earlier reported in a statement that many Jordanian, Arab and foreign investors and investment funds have expressed interest in taking part in the suggested capital.

They also tackled the company’s ability to inject the proposed capital in investment opportunities available globally and regionally, and gave a board-level decision to increase the capital to JOD 700 million (one billion dollars).
