Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi city of Jeddah will host the first edition of Beautyworld Saudi Arabia in October.
Co-organizsed by Messe Frankfurt Middle East and Saudi-based ACE Group, the event will take place during the period between 14 October and 16 October at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events.
With its 17 launch partners, the exhibition will feature more than 120 exhibitors across the world in its first edition in the GCC nation.
The three-day event will display beauty products including cosmetics, skincare, haircare, salon supplies, and fragrances. It is prepared to welcome thousands of Saudi trade buyers and beauty professionals.
Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said that more than 90% of the available space at the event have been booked.
“The unbridled enthusiasm among leading international brands to gain further access to the Middle East’s largest beauty and wellness market is understandable,” Pauwels added.
Beautyworld Saudi Arabia will cover the five product groups of fragrance, namely cosmetics and skincare; hair, nails and salon supplies, machinery, packaging and raw materials; and personal care and hygiene.
Pauwels said that the retail value of beauty and personal care in the biggest Middle Eastern economy is projected to reach $6.9 billion by 2021 instead of $5.7 billion in 2018.
“The success of Beautyworld Middle East over the years in creating a highly effective business development and knowledge sharing platform is also a major factor behind the enthusiastic response to the brand’s inaugural foray into the Kingdom,” Pauwels noted.
