Riyadh - Mubasher: Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company (Jamjoom Pharma) has signed an exclusive agreement with Idorsia Limited for the distribution and commercialization of QUVIVIQ™ (daridorexant) in Saudi Arabia and the Levant region, according to a press release.
The partnership represents a strategic milestone in Jamjoom Pharma's expansion into new therapeutic areas, reinforcing its commitment to providing innovative, high-quality treatments across the region, where sleep disorders remain significantly underdiagnosed and undertreated.
Under the agreement, the Tadawul-listed group will obtain the marketing authorization and assume full commercial responsibility for QUVIVIQ, Idorsia's first-in-class dual orexin receptor antagonist indicated for the treatment of adult patients with insomnia.
Meanwhile, Idorsia will manufacture and supply the finished drug product for the agreed territories. The Swiss biopharmaceutical company will receive an upfront payment, milestone-based payments, and royalties tied to net sales.

Jamjoom Pharma recently signed a binding share subscription agreement and a shareholders’ agreement with Lifera, a commercial-scale biopharmaceutical company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
