Jafza automotive, spare parts business hits AED 39.5bn in 2017

Dubai – Mubasher: Business worth of automotive and spare parts companies operating in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) registered  AED 39.5 billion ($10.75 billion) in 2017.

After two productive years, the Emirati automotive sector is expected to soar, as new vehicle sales in the GCC country is forecast to surge 4%, according to According to BMI Research.

“The encouraging performance of the sector underlines Dubai’s position as the preferred logistics and distribution centre for the automotive industry in the region which has been with us since the beginning,” DP World’s chairman Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem said.
