Jabal Omar mulls expansion in 2 Saudi cities – CEO

Riyadh – Mubasher: Jabal Omar Development on Tuesday revealed plans to expand its presence in Jeddah and Medina over the coming period, the Saudi real estate services provider's CEO said.

The firm may issue sukuk at a value of SAR 2 billion during the first half of this year, Yaser Al Sharif added during an interview with Al Arabiya channel.

The Saudi Stock Exchange- (Tadawul) listed company previously stated that it might issue SAR 2 billion ($533 million)  domestic sukuk over the coming period.

During the third quarter of 2018, Jabal Omar turned profitable, logging SAR 469.62 million, against a loss of SAR 593.97 million in the same period a year earlier.

From January to September 2018, the Saudi firm registered a profit of SAR 192.3 million, against SAR 600.96 million in losses during the corresponding period last year.

Jabal Omar Development’s stock went down 0.15% to close Tuesday’s trading session at SAR 32.50.
