Iraq, Qatar, Lebanon report new coronavirus cases

Mubasher: Iraq announced that five new cases have tested positive for the new coronavirus (COVID-19), four in Baghdad and one in Babylon, state-run Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported.

Patients are currently receiving the necessary medical treatment in the health ministry's hospitals, according to the ministry's official spokesperson, Seif Al Badr, who further added that the country is undertaking all required measures to handle the patients and those who have been in close contact with them.

Meanwhile, coronavirus cases in Bahrain have risen to 41 until the moment, after three patients tested positive for the disease.

Qatar also announced the first case with the new coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Public Health.

In Lebanon, the Ministry of Public Health confirmed three new cases with COVID-19, bringing the total number to seven.
